Montefino

A typical pleasant red blend (4 local grapes) of Alentejo, where there are many of it. Has still potential to age few more years with high tannins, fruit and acidity.

Wow what a wine. Just like I remember in Portugal. This isn't an aperitif wine this is a wine u serve slightly chilled and in big quantities with grilled food and friends. Touriga Nacional 25%, trincadeira 25%, aragonez 25% and Alicante Bouschet 25%. Muted nose but flavors come alive after the first sip or two - some cut green veg and red fruits that are married. Short finish

Essence: plums, raspberries Taste: tart cherries, baking spices, coffee berries, tannic like Cabernet but more of a sour than sweet after taste

2.5 eur de broma para un sabor a uva dulce con un post gusto de matices de humo, roble, zinc y frutas silvestres. Muy recomendable
