Director's Cut Alexander Valley Merlot

Pros: smooth out of the bottle, great label re zoetrope and low tannins. Cons: Although dark in color, it's light to medium bodied with no immediate zing-factor and doesn't linger at the end. Tastes of alcohol. Ends up feeling flat. But will let it sit and breathe. If it changes, I will re edit this

Nice Merlot. Fairly light, well balanced.

Dark and full bodied, this wine brings on the darkness fruits: black plumb, dark cherry, black currant. It has relatively high acidity so should pair well with oily dishes.

Dark berry flavors, not overly sweet. Nice everyday wine.

Smooth, with bark and wood aftertastes. Airy.

Surprising. Deep color, but light to medium body. Fruity up front, plums, berries & currants. Smooth with a bit of vanilla and French oak on the finish.

メルローらしい甘い口当たりだが、味はしっかりパンチがある。
深い味わい、味の膨らみ、後味に舌に残る上品な酸味を伴うタンニン。どれも良いバランスで仕上げられている。
飲み心地、ボリュームとも抜群。
肉、チーズなどいろいろな食事と合いそう。
洋子もかなり気に入ったみたい。

Love! Perfect balance a little on the juicy side. No weird after taste. Rich but not over powering. A good wine for under $30 ready to cork. Bevmo purchase.
