Another go to champagne, but much preferred the Pommery in a blind taste test today. — 10 years ago
Someone told me to try this if I liked Prisoner, which I do. There's a similarity but this one isn't as dry. Therefore it gets a lower rating and not sure Id buy again. It's full bodied and very smooth, low tannins but a tad too sweet. It's $20 vs Prisoner $55. — 10 years ago
Pros: smooth out of the bottle, great label re zoetrope and low tannins. Cons: Although dark in color, it's light to medium bodied with no immediate zing-factor and doesn't linger at the end. Tastes of alcohol. Ends up feeling flat. But will let it sit and breathe. If it changes, I will re edit this — 10 years ago
Bold fruit with a smooth but slight tannin after taste. Would order again. — 10 years ago
I would much rather have Dom, Veuve, or many others. But I happened into BevMo who had sale for $2o per bottle. Not a strong bubbly on the long ended bit dry enough. Easy drinking for an easy night alone a Friday night — 10 years ago
One of my faves. Just consistently tasty and super fine bubbles. — 10 years ago
My go-to is usually Veuve but decided to try this from a recommendation at Wade's. Glad I did. It has a nice woody and Vintage flavor at a better price than VCV — 10 years ago
Rich and smooth with cherry musky flavor. A decent easy in the budget wine. Easy on tannins. — 10 years ago
