Tonight's wine is the 2018 Francis Blanchet Vieilles Vignes Pouilly Fumé.
On the nose there is notes of lime, peach, kiwi, lemon curd, white flowers, herbs and minerality.
On the palate I am getting the telltale lime, green apple, grapefruit, bell pepper, minerality and an earthiness.
This wine is medium bodied with medium + acidity and a crisp long finish. A nice Sauvignon Blanc but there are so many more better out there. Have a great downward slide into the weekend and please be safe. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂

Flinty, bursting with citrus like lime, kumquat, oro blanco, pith. Grass and fresh tarragon mingle about with a leesy richness giving the wine some stance on the palate. Nice mineral length on the back end, perfect sipper for these warm February days in St. Helena.

My first 2014 from the Loire Valley. If this is any indication, it is a great vintage. This is everything you look for in a Sauvignon Blanc.
