Big and jammy even at 19 years of age. Not an elegant wine, and fairly hot on the palate. Not good for standalone drinking. Probably best with grilled meat or BarBQue. 24 hours of air helps a lot, but still not enough to tame this wine.

Still alive with plenty of structure and fruit. Drinking mostly like Syrah. Lots of sediment in the bottle. Not really complex but tasty enough.
