This is s new grape variety for me. Feels very much like a Primitivo.
Easy drinking and good by itself or with food.
Very approachable right out of the bottle, but a little mute on the nose. As it opens up, it becomes earthier and needs food, but the nose gets much more interesting.
A little unbalanced, but still drinkable. Simple and good for parties.

Very expressive on the palate. Savory plum, Pommegranite and a nice funky prune tinge on the back end. Long-ish finish medium tannins. Needs some decant time and probably a year or two in the bottle
