The Doctors' Marlborough Grüner Veltliner

Warm plastic and bandaid nose... Suggests this has been influenced by Brett.... Will have to try again and update.

Not sure if this is a bad bottle, but I get no fruit on the nose. Like a warm river raft, this wine is super plastic. Bandaids, plastic toys, lit match, kerosene. Palate shows a glimmer of acidity that drops and keeps dropping until you feel weird and sad. Hopefully just a bad bottle!

I had this at lunch yesterday with fried clams and Caesar salad, very nice fruit but somewhat soft on the acid for my expectation. I just needed to try a NZ Gruner...

Dry and mineral. Totally credible

More petrol notes, not what I usually think of Grüner

Tried this at the vineyards tasting. Brought a bottle home and drank it with a Caribbean Pork dish - perfect. So yummy!!

Bit a the sweet side for a Grüner.

At Slate in DC during the pontiffs visit - coincidently - found by accident this great restaurant - incredible paella and asparagus risotto - mixed well with this light but earthy white
