Well here’s one way to wash out a long, tough evening—forlorn hope indeed. But it sure brightens the palate and spirit. Fresh, bursting cherries, spring blooms, with just a pinch of baking spice. Lots of zippy acid keeps the mouth watering.

Decaying leaves, figs, shoe leather, wonderful effervescence. For 12.5% it started a little hot on the nose but has mellowed. Awesome recommendation from Nicholas at goat.sheep.cow south!

I've always loved this wine and this vintage seems especially aromatic.

Snappy wine. Bright red fruit; cherry, cranberry. A touch floral (violets?) with a spice-kisses finish

Juicy and earthy at the same time! Wonderful wine made from Portuguese grape from an appellation I have never drank! Seen this around you @Ryan Colthorp ???

Something alluring in here. Light bodied, dark purple, with a bit of fizz on the first two days. Plummy with almost a dark chocolate taste. A unique, delicious, and intriguing bottle.

Light, with lots of strawberries... Finished with some slate.. A funky but delicious wine.

New year, new wine: Portuguese grape in Calif. Bright red berries, sweet spices, light body, floral nose. It’s a pretty wine.

Light purple in the glass with cherry undertones. This thing is so damn funky in so many ways. Beautiful nose consisting of roses, ripe plums, bright strawberries, mowed grass, and wet leaves on the ground. Soft, juicy tannins with a delicate body. More funkiness coming on the palate with black cherry cola, roasted coffee beans, mild chocolate, a little basil, and just a bit of green tea. I love this thing. So obviously unlike just about anything else coming out of California right now.
