Verdelho.Labeled California as it is a blend from Sierra Foothills (Rorick vineyard in Calaveras County and Dewitt's vineyard in Amador County) and Central Valley (Vista Luna Vineyard in Borden Ranch - Lodi AVA). Bright yellow. Intense, fresh nose with pineapple and ripe grapefruit. Taste corresponds to the smell, great mix of pineapple fruit and the subtle bitterness of ripe grapefruit, great balancing acidity, real depth and a long finish. Never tasted anything this good from this grape. Great stuff. Matthew Rorick strikes again! 2014 vintage.

Bright gold color, white flowers and candied fruits yellow fruits, a round and soft palate with deep fruit intensity. Different without trying very hard. Nice stuff, wished it had a little more minerality and acidity. #forlornhope
