A forlorn hope success. I love Rose with a few years.

Very nice Barbera, especially considering No sulfur added. Whole cluster fermentation lends it excellent tannin structure without too much green. Nice Boysenberry fruit and tarry reductive notes.

Aug 4th, 2015Very fun comparison. 1st, authentic Barbera, feels almost Italian. This one is sans soufre. Wine is darker, nose is still closed even on day two. Super bright acidity, great with food.

Needed a day open to really shine. But damn it's fine.

Certainly unique; maybe just a touch too volatile for me though.
