Les Allies Fingers Lakes Dry Riesling
Was on a bit of a finger lakes kick after stumbling across a great producer so gave this a try. Very well made and balanced, sadly I think it's a bit over the hump as the acidity was a soft than I would expect.

Aug 28th, 2017Light bodied Finger Lakes Riesling. Hints of honeysuckle and "wet rocks" and just a bit of oak on the nose. Green apple, pears and that wonderful expression of "Riesling petroleum" on the pallet. Love the fact that this one is aged in large oak barriques. Refreshing change from some of the "typical FLX Rieslings."

Feb 15th, 2017The oak aging process makes this wine nice and creamy. It is rich, and the acidity feels like it squeezes your tongue. This is the Riesling for people who enjoy Chardonnay aged in oak. Cheers.

Jul 14th, 2016Delicious reserve Riesling. Spends almost a year in older barrels which imparts some nice creaminess.

Jun 3rd, 2016Lean and racy. Neutral oak rounds the corners just a touch and being out the fruit.
