Rich dark fruit nose. The palate is less rich with tart cherry acidity. It was great with the beet salad we had with dinner then also great with the steak and mushrooms for the main course. Very interesting wine.

Dark cherries and raspberries, Italian earth. Drank light and fresh when served chilled and gained some richness as it opened and warmed up.
