Briary black fruit berry characteristics. Savory finish. Delightful with chocolate cake. I am sure bbq steak, lamb or chicken would really work with this.

Medium purple color. Aromas of raspberry, cranberry and star anise. Delicious red fruit with a sandalwood finish.

This is a Russian River Carignane... Hopefully the Delectable minions will get this corrected. We should be able to enter a wine here like you can on Vivino. Anyway, I have been a fan of Foppiano wines for decades and have to say this is a true disappointment. Flat and watery with little fruit character. Something for the bottom shelf. Sad. I have no idea of the price because I had this at a party (freshly opened bottle that I kept going back to, hoping it would open up.). I could not find it online, even on the winery web site. This is a mystery.
