New vintage in, and I love it. At $16 this is probably the greatest value CA Pinot. Layers of cherry and red fruit. Good acidity. Balanced.

Named after a passage of Herman Melville's Moby Dick. Purchased on line from " winc" wine club.

Nice ruby color, light fruit taste, forest turf, mild tannins, smooth juice finish. Overly light. I Thought it could use more acidity

Santa Maria Ca. U.S.A. 13.8%ABV.

Soft, easy going Pinot. Florals, cherry, cranberry on the nose. Elegant as all get out. It tastes how Pinot should taste, which is saying a lot considering a lot of what's coming out of California. Red fruit and a touch of clove. Really refined for the price. Nothing crazy but nice QPR.

Amazing value. 16 Bucks for a really solid Pinot. Revisited the next day, BBQ in the SoCal rain, and this is just a very pleasant treat. Revisiting 7/20/19, and upped to 90 points. Just a really solid Pinot.
