A natural, Portuguese red blend. Yup, I’ll say it: echoes of the Jura, with a light electric red color, & similar electric jolt flavor profile, albeit in a decidedly light body & low alcohol. Bout half the price of a decent Trousseau..... hmmm

On a really hot day, full of Canadian smoke( Export A’s, anyone), thunderstorms and possible tornadoes, this vino zaps you into focus. Strawberries and vaguely Italian like Cherries on the nose mingled with earth, feet, and some umami on the palate. At first, the acidity is bracing. But with food a unified whole emerges.Perfect with Bacon & Lemon roasted Trout.Cuts right through the fats without overpowering your buds. Very glou glou at 11.5°.Raise a glass to Portugal!

Portuguese Field blend of Tints Barroca, Tinta Roriz and Rufete. Dark ruby color with a thin garnet rim. Aromas and flavors of black and red bramble berries, baking spices and roasted meat. Quite concentrated and bold. Touch of oak, vanilla and dill on the long and lingering finish. Nicely integrated (soft) tannins and medium-plus acidity. Nice intensity.
