Deep Ruby color with aromas of red fruits, smoky cedar and baking spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and ripe raspberry with toasty notes and cinnamon spice. Full-bodied, fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit toasty-smoky oak and an earthy character. Nice!

Transparent dark ruby. Inviting nose and medium palate of dark red cherry, marzipan, and rooibos tea. Medium acidity. Medium minus minus tannins that assert at the very back palate. Lingering finish continues the red fruit. A classic RRV Pinot Noir from a renowned and respected producer. Ready for almost any fare from salmon to pork to vegetarian dishes or lighter cuts of beef. Drink now through 2026 or so.

This is a nice and easy drinking Pinot Noir from Russian River Valley.

Medium bodied with medium acidity.

Showing red fruits with light wood, spices, licorice, earth, black tea, wild flowers and black pepper.

Nice finish with fine grained tannins.

Needs 30 minutes to open up and show the tannins.

I had it blind, so it was a little disappointing when I saw what it was. I expected much more complexity, especially at this price point. Nevertheless, this is a good afternoon wine. Tangy and interesting.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

89 points.

$50.
