Deep Ruby color with aromas of red fruits, forest floor and spice, spent 14 months in 28% new French oak. On the palate flavors of cherry and ripe raspberry with cedar notes, cinnamon spice and earthy herbs. Full-bodied, fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, oak and an earthy character. Nice!

2012 Camp Meeting Ridge Pinot Noir

A ruby-red hue of medium intensity gives way to crimson at the rim of the glass. The nose is nuanced and intriguing with layers of black cherry, spicy blood orange, hibiscus, cedar forest floor and crushed stones. These elements carry over to the palate accompanied by clove, cardamom and nutmeg. Textured by fine-grained, whole-cluster tannins, the mouthfeel carries verve, precision and structure from the cool-climate, coastal acidity.

Full flavored in the mouth with medium body. Red and black cherry, smoky campfire, salami, Asian five spice and cedar forest. However, found it only containing acid on the finish and was very hollow and lost its flavors. Is it a dumb phase? Expected more

Owned by Walt and Joan Flowers, who in 1989 purchased 321 acres, including a ridge top, high above the Pacific Ocean on the northern Sonoma Coast. Deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruit and earthy spice. Full of flavor this Pinot displays fresh cherry, raspberry and strawberry fruit with citrus, spice and oak. Fine grain soft tannins with lively acidity showing some earthy mineral tones on the lingering finish. Tasting Sample.
