A bit flinty and funky out of the gates. Some hazelnuts, but also a rich flinty character, that goes away with 5 minutes of air. Palate is so so elegant and scary refined. Wow. Such finesse and depth. Really remarkable. What a palate. So much mineral depth and freshness. Terrific juiciness and structure. Tangy, citrus in the finish. Has years to go. Great energy and density yet so finessed.

A gorgeous and understated Puligny. Rather than being on the fruity, peachy side, this is a slender, more minerally take. Honeyed, lemon-oil soaked wet Burgundian earth on the nose, linear and crisp as all get-out in the mouth, with great mineral purity. Very distinctive.
