A wine is made from a selection of vineyards close to the Finca Vallejo Estate winery, this a 100% tinta del país (Tempranillo) grapes, has a noble impact on the nose and palate, full-bodied, robust character, with intense flavors of black fruit, and array of spices. On the mid-range palate the vanilla from the oak aging comes notably, solid tannins, and extended but not overly long finish. Overall; great option at a decent price point.

At La Bogeda restaurant at Porto de La Duquesa in Costa del Sol Spain. This was supposed to be a Cune wine but the bottle didn’t say so. $18 on the restaurant wine list. Ok but would try other offerings before revisiting this one.
