Finca Sandoval
Manchuela Syrah Blend
Incredible QPR I tasted in Spain. Reminds me of a great Northern Rhone. Very funky nose of soy sauce, black fruit, leather, and Christmas fruit cake. For under $30 retail I can't think of much else I'd rather drink. Seek the 2009!

Mar 28th, 2015Really cool stuff...nose of maturing Syrah, currant jam, cedar. Inky with minimal rim gradation. Palate is fruit/tannin up front with northern Rhone gentility on the end. Soy sauce, roasted meat, iron, leather. We last had this four years ago and it’s still going strong. Worth tracking down.
