Blackberries, a slight oak note, a bit of tar. The palate is made of a strong acid drive which gives a lot of freshness and verticality to the wine. I was not expecting this. There is a tangy fruit playing around the backbone, a good grip, a bit of width but not upfront, it's rather in mid palate with a spherical shape, some pepper and a long fruity finish with pepper and a pinch of salt. This is actually not bad!
