This is a nice surprise. An interesting Petit Verdot from Spain. Definitely feels like a new world wine. Tangy and a little hot.
Good by itself and better with food. Good right out of the bottle, but better as it opens up and brings some tannins and structure.
I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.
14% alcohol by volume.

A $10 Viognier from Spain has no business being this good. Aromas of honeysuckle and wildflowers. Lemongrass and light stone fruit on the palate, and a playful minerality for the finish. Next time I see this in the shop I’m buying a case. — 2 years ago
Wonderful blend. Deep cherry color. Lots of ripe dark fruits — 4 years ago
