Fleshy, soft and generous but lacking a focus of acid or soil note for me. A bit simple.

Medium tannins and bright. Cherry and tobacco with a quick finish. Something was missing from this but I don’t know what…pretty okay.

Apr 21st, 2020Deep Ruby with purple hue edge. Violets and vanilla immediate on nose, damson, plum, some baking spice, floral. Soft and chewy on palate fresh, lively cassis and blackcurrant, black and red plum with smooth tannin. Fruit concentrated and wine well balanced.

Nov 3rd, 2019Quite impressed with this wine from a popular supermarket. Great depth and at the same time quite mellow. Enjoying it with some bbq meats. Excellent quality given the price.
