Luna Malbec 'Finca la Anita' Agrelo-Mendoza 2017

Fleshy, soft and generous but lacking a focus of acid or soil note for me. A bit simple.

Medium tannins and bright. Cherry and tobacco with a quick finish. Something was missing from this but I don’t know what…pretty okay.

Mellow, but fantastic depth. Plum and spice. Perfect pair with pasta!

Smooth from the first drop.

Deep Ruby with purple hue edge. Violets and vanilla immediate on nose, damson, plum, some baking spice, floral. Soft and chewy on palate fresh, lively cassis and blackcurrant, black and red plum with smooth tannin. Fruit concentrated and wine well balanced.

Lovely. Medium tannin.

Quite impressed with this wine from a popular supermarket. Great depth and at the same time quite mellow. Enjoying it with some bbq meats. Excellent quality given the price.

Very acidic. Had to pour out and could not drink. Possibly had a skunked bottle.
