Grand Vineyards Paisaje de Barrancas Syrah Blend

My favorite wine so far from Argentina. Surprised how good this one was based on the age.

Rich mocha, cranberries, and forest on a beautiful and complex nose. Juicy, round, red berries with cocoa notes. Smooth finish that lasts. Excellent effort. Would be great with dark chocolate dessert.

The structure has faded away leaving sweet red, blue, and black fruit. Incredible notes of tropical citrus made the wine very unique. Smooth with med intensity and length. #fincaflichman #syrah #malbec #mendoza #argentina #ctbucklinwine

For generally not being a fan of Syrah, this hit the spot with some homemade burgers and grilled onions. The nose was all black cherry and cedar with a lush, silky smooth palate. This is hitting it's stride right now and shouldn't be held any longer.. A luxurious kind of Syrah for only $18.

Young. With considerable air time the wine develops dark and silky fruit and gravelly undercurrent, high acidity and densely structured.

Smoldered wood on the nose, seamless balance of blackberry, tar, and mocha on the palette, with well integrated tannins.

Slightly sweet

Very smooth, excellent with meat and red sauce dishes. Recommended.
