Reserva Mountain Character Valle de Uco Malbec

Outrageously nice value for $13. This is maybe only my second or third Malbec but this was by far my favorite On the nose I get some dark fruitiness, baguette, anise. Purple and red fruits. Tannins could be better incorporated but they’re there, acidity doesn’t jump out to me either but it’s there. Definitely get some chocolate towards the end, lightly toasted tobacco on the finish. Magenta rim, deep opaque purple color. Yeah probably one of the best red wines I’ve found at this price point in 2024. I would definitely buy again and recommend to a friend.

Smooth and fruity for a Malbec. Simple flavor profile. Plum with a vanilla aftertaste.

I love a great Malbec from Mendoza, and this is one. Finica El Origen Reserva 2019. The bouquet is very special with aromas of lilac and Lavendar. The palate opens with an amazing burst of dark currant and black cherry. This is quickly followed by a dark chocolate and pepper spread. The finish comes slowly as a silky, buttery, semi dry lip smacking finale. What a show!!!!!!! I suggest you try this if you like Malbec!!!!!!!

Easy drinking. Thick and rich. A gift from Metro. Delicious with rich meats. Babs says it’s what she looks for in a Malbec. Dry finish.

Full bodied - slightly spicy - wonderful finish

Never disappointed with this brand. It doesn’t have that smoky aftertaste like a typical Malbec and I probably would’ve mistaken it for a merlot. Smooth taste, which makes a pairing with cheap pizza feel like a gourmet meal!
