Medium purple hue, ruby rim variation. Medium / heavy tearing. Medium extraction. Moderate aromas of candied blackberry, strawberry rhubarb pie, eucalyptus, mint, cedar, oak, and allspice. Soft and velvety on the palate, more oak-forward with loads of baking spices: cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, and fresh black fruit and molasses. Medium tannins. A beauty from Walla Walla Valley with predominately Cabernet Sauvignon, but also Petit Verdot and Merlot. Drinking very nice right now. Lots of dark cherries 🍒 on this one. Spice has petered on this one. Nice wine. Wouldn’t hold too much longer.

Strong oak upfront. But it pulled in and integrated with the vibrant dark cherry and plum fruits very well and made it into a balanced wine with a great finish.

Nice prelude to a long weekend.

A delicious cab that tingles on your tongue. Dark fruit. Will age more but tannins seems pretty resolved. Maybe 3 years to perfection.

Another crowd pleaser. Needed a couple hours to decant. Red fruit and smooth tannins. Some earth notes in there as well — maybe herbal. Nice finish. Still has a few more years before it truly shines, but it was still singing tonight.

A lot going on with this one. Cocoa, mint, chalk, scorched earth, dried black cherry, cassis. Great concentration and a home run nose. Wow.
