Feudo Principi di Butera
Sicilia Nero d'Avola
An okay wine for being one of my favorite grapes. Deep red in color, slightly tannic, not much fruit but I like it because it has a smooth finish.

Dec 4th, 2018Very nice.Paired it with lamb burgers and was a nice pairing. Brought out some of the cherry in the wine. Great value. a nice summer red for pairings.

Jul 18th, 2016Not sure where I bought this wine but it was a perfect companion to my Mexican carne asada dinner. I was actually looking for a Zin and found this instead. Great balance of tannins to perceived sweetness of dark cooked berries, caramel and chocolate with a touch of spice.

Sep 13th, 2014Really smooth finish with slight acidity. Mellow enough to pair with many foods.

Jul 4th, 2020Lovely ruby red. Herbs (like mint and sage) & fruit on the nose. Flavors are jam and smoke. Bit of musk and lavender perfume. It’s nice hot Italian. Juicy, balanced and likable. I’d definitely go for it again, and again.
