Great acid and mountain freshness in this lovely Pinot Nero from Alto Adige

It’s always great to find out that after years of drinking wine, we can still find bottles that genuinely surprise and amaze. I was expecting a nice light red for dinner. What we found here was all the elegance and texture one looks for in the finest expressions of Pinot Noir (Nero), and pure layered fruit with a gorgeous spicy aromatic note. Will absolutely be seeking out and buying again.

First time with this grape, very interesting. Some tannin and earth, fruit comes much later. Worth further investigation

Mezzo punto di premio in più se li merita tutto per la grande eleganza generale e per la magnifica fattezze dei suoi tannini senza dilungarsi troppo sulle caratteristiche varietali ben presenti e evidenti. Bevuto anche la 2015 appena svinato e il colore da solo pagava la visita
