Violets, plums, the smokiness, expressive. Medium bodied, good acid, reasonable length.

Rock solid #Rhone. Razor sharp and piercing out of the bottle with damp barn funk that blows off.

Dark crimson/purple, medium density color. Smells completely different than it tastes. High acid & tannins, hollow to the center palate. Minimal detectable sugar. Extremely tart raspberries with hints of white pepper and stems. Wet rock soil.

Can't believe this wine sells for what they say it does. Over delivers in every cork dork aspect. Best value I've had all year.

Needs a long decant to open up. Cherry, black fruits somewhat muted, with black pepper, savory beef jerky. Medium plus acid and tannin.

Well made plonk that cannot escape the criticism of...uninteresting. But to be fair...100% Syrah at the $15/$20 price point has never captivated me. Save your money and head South.
