On the palate flavors of blackberry and blueberry fruit with licorice, cacao, leather and oak, well balanced. Fine ripe tannins, long finish ending with fruit, oak and spice. A pleasure to drink. Very nice.

Almost black with violet highlights. Extremely complex nose of mint, black cherries, plums, black olive, mocha and cigar box. Medium to full bodied and a soft mouthfeel with big, concentrated fruits. Flavors of black cherries and plums again, along with blackberry. There's also pencil shavings and vanilla. It finishes with black cherries, pencil shavings, mint and tannin. Spectacular.

Dark cherry up front with some sweetness with a smooth finish of black licorice and wet stone.

Very nice with filet. Hint of mint.
