Dark ruby coloration. No translucency. Prevalent tearing. On the nose, dark cherry and berries, currants and cocoa. On the palate, dark cherry, dark berry, cocoa, oak, vanilla, pepper and a longish finish of same. Jammy fruit. Full bodied and lush mouthfeel. Great value wine. $30 at total wine.
