Decanted for an hour. Dark ruby. Opaque. Big/deep nose. Notes of dark berries, smoked meat, dark unsweetened chocolate and some pepper. Good balance in the mouth. Long finish. Paired well with some steaks.

Dark, opaque and brooding in the glass. Great nose. Notes of black fruit, mocha, some wood and a little sweetness. Rich and silky in the mouth. Long finish. This can improve but was very enjoyable tonight

Dark ruby. Opaque. Nice rioja nose. Notes of dark berries, smoked meat, some wet wood, a little dark chocolate and some peppery spice. Good balance in the mouth and a lasting finish. Both bottles were in great shape. Ok for drinking now or over next 10 years.
