A big al and tannic Barolo. 9 years hasn’t tamed this. Probably needs more time in the bottle. Initial taste wasn’t great. But after some air, fruit was more discernible. Still, kind of raw and wild. I liked it. But not sure I would buy again.

At this price $37.99, you can't go wrong. It could use a few more years in the cellar but for a 2011 in 2016 this is simply nice. Typical Barolo, one of my favorites.
