Not bad, but a bit mild. Smooth for sure though, just not as bold as their other wines.

Dry with a good mix of dark cherry and raspberries. As with most Italian reds, good acidity. Drank half and cooked with the other. Quaffable. '2013

Newly bottled stuff. Think this is a TJ’s staple. Smells juicy. Hint of gravel too. Flavors are fruit driven with a healthy acid streak. Cherry. This has plenty of cherry. Good juice for the price.

Astringent red fruit and fully-bloomed roses on the nose, ruby in color and slightly opaque. Strawberries, a hint of cherry tartness, pepper and spice, slightly drying and tannic on the palate. It's got some punch but it's not heavy, more moderate in body with a smooth finish.

Nose of cherry, flavors of cherry, a hint of raspberry. A hint of spice and maybe even a bit of coffee. Not overly tannic. Nice!
