Tasty wine, even if it's not in the style I normally gravitate towards.

Bold and beautiful. Lots of concentrated fruit, smoky notes and slate.

Favia Rompecabezas: extraordinary. Simply, one of California's best.

I'm surprised I liked this wine but it was not only well made but I felt nicely balanced between oak n fruit. High high extract but not overtly tannic.

Only reason for the ‘lower rating’ is that I’m just not a Syrah fan. I almost always taste pepper and I’m not at all a fan of pepper. I’m a huge Favia fan....just need to stay away from Syrah.
