Deep purplish red core with lighter edges. Dark nose with cinnamon, leather, pepper, plums and strawberries. Medium well integrated tannins (5.5/10) and medium body. Balanced with a bit of milk chocolate, black fruits, spices, damp earthiness, plums, and some volcanic soil on the palate. Good acidity and dry medium plus finish. Drink till 2020.

Just finished pressing my '15 Champanel (which underwent cryomaceration - think Hans Solo in carbonite) and rewarded the Slow Turtle team with juice from Fausse Piste. Too good.
