Father’s Day treat with a dry aged porterhouse. A great wine as always, but this bottle was a bit more evolved than previous bottles with a touch of prune.

17.5. No age showing. Restrained but lovely nose. Very very smooth and elegant. Good but not outstanding length. Will be interesting to compare with 2006 (just brought in a case - this bottle was a one-off).
