It has such a earthy, and ethereal complexity without losing one bit of its crunchiness
So satisfying and refreshing

I have always been big fan of 2008 Chianti Riservas and i reckon they are just at their best

2010 vintage. We visited here in 2015 and stayed at the winery/Abbey. Fantastic wines and hospitality. This is showing beautifully and so happy we kept it this long. Perfectly preserved.

Damson plum, boysenberry, orange peel and black tea. Some exotic Aglianico-like notes. Very tart with a crystalline energy. Spicy tannins. A little harsh; young still.

I dig the Classico more, especially with the price difference, but this is still a good bottle. Dark and brooding. Cigar box and virgins pipe tobacco. Leathery. But despite that, soft and light body. Drinks hot.

Young, wound up but with good potential. Dark cherry, leather, kiss of violet and spice. Savory and dark with energetic acid. Stony and mineral with chalky tannins. Needs time but will be great with age
