Very young looking color. Initially strong red and blue fruit on the nose, with fairly obvious black pepper notes. Full body, boysenberries with leather undertones. This feels very young, probably an hour+ decant needed. Long finish.

Très belle bouteille qui a accompagné la bavette et les tomates provençales à merveille. Belle complexité, très beau fruit, bois bien intégré et très belle finale.
À boire dans un proche avenir. Le bouchon était imbibé à 75% Me reste une bouteille que je boirai d'ici 2 ans

2007 - Incredibly tannic especially for the vintage. Lots of mineral and lead pencil. Taste almost like a '70 Montrose. Saving half of it for tomorrow to see if the tannins soften.
