Yum. Power, elegance. Savory. Perfect with potato/leek gratin.

Secondary colors or brick and garnet showing. Earthy nose of mushroom, tobacco, forest floor, licorice, and dried black cherry. Dry on the mouthfeel, with acid driven ripe red fruit. Drinking well right now. (Opened for 8 hours prior)

Hey Ryan Stewart, this one's for you. Achilles says it's the double barrel Darrell. Hits, disappears, comes back for the kill. This should come with a body bag.

Excellent Brunello; not the best ever but still very enjoyable. Enjoyed with grilled lamb, and the oak and earth notes were very nice. Has good fruit and a floral and spicy nose. Overall great. Maybe overpriced at around $38, though in the world of Brunellos that may be a reasonable price. Maureen likes the woody and earthy flavors.

Great Brunello - not the best I've ever had but far from the worst. Has all the great flavor notes of the Sangiovese grape, and the bottle age serves it well. Very drinkable and robust. Overall terrific.
