Tar, smoke, minerals, toasted oak, dried flowers and black cherries.
For this label, this is a relatively (!) transparent and elegant vintage.
I like it!

Volcanic nose. Dark fruit. Big structure, dense and full. Adequate acid. Tannins are smooth. Long finish. This bottle reflects the grape blend and could never be mistaken for R bank Bordeaux as some have said. Definitely geeky.

This is the Campanian Wine version of Chelsea Manning - superficially a somewhat rough-looking woman, but definitely masculine underneath. I feel like Obama for prematurely commuting her sentence, as this should stay corked in solitary confinement a while longer. #TooSoon?
