It’s young. It’s approachable. Light in body. Good tannins and acidity. Great with lentil and slow roasted pork soup. Definitely a good wine right now. See what happens over the next 10 years.

This was fine. Although a bit too closed up to understand it properly. A bit bigger than what I’ve been drinking lately. Not a bad thing. Just maybe not my thing.

Tasted blind: Garnet rim. Bright core. Soft oak meets a synthetic rubber nose. Roses and violets bring balance. Palate is more uniform with straight cherry cough syrup. Juicy acid shows first then touch of heat. Moderate tannin. Cherry and pine box to finish.

A great Riserva!
Intense on the nose, Turing into pleasant fruit tastes on the palate.
Extremely well balanced Chianti.
Had this twice in the last 2 days and was super pleased every time.
Drinks perfectly now, but should be good for another 5.
