Very herbaceous with some fennel notes. This was a 1997 vintage and it held up great. Stewed meats. Beef barley stew wrapped up with a bouquet of dried herbs.

Oh so pretty, this 1997 is lively and elegant with gorgeous tertiary aromas...lavender, fig, plum, mint, balsamic and walnut. Loving its silky texture and youthfulness

(1997 vintage) remarkably elegant and lively-so youthful and bright, a little sediment but same color as the 2009. Drink right now or hold onto it, no need to decant.

2012: Cab/Sangiovese Super Tuscan, solid and drinking well now after warm store storage. Good mineral backbone, moderate tannins and slightly fading blue and red fruit. Reasonably complex - would be 93+ if fruit were a little more evident (could be a function of warm storage). $50 but can get for $40 (which is a bargain for the quality).
