The 2016 Rosso di Montalcino exudes character and nuance. Pipe tobacco, cedar, licorice, dried flowers and crushed red berry fruit all fill out the wine's frame. This mid-weight, savory Rosso packs a real punch, with bright acids that punctuate the finish. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, October 2019)

Oct 4th, 2019Plenty of depth here. Rich and vibrant with a dark plum colour in the glass and black fruit on the nose. A lot of length in the palate with blackberry, a subtle smokiness and vanilla oak. Paired with a grilled pork chop at Royale in Calgary. Delicious.
