May 9th, 2023First time trying this Merlot. Dark ruby. Slightly floral, dark red/black fruit, oak, vanilla. Really nicely structured, all the pieces fit really nicely. Could still use a few years to soften these dense chewy tannins, but I bet will be nice after time in the glass. Dark plum, blackberry cobbler, oak, spices. Really drinks very nicely. Nice thick mouthfeel with a good med-long finish.
