Get up! It's my Friday and after a long week at the office it calls for a stellar bottle. One of the best aged bottles I've had. Nose that displays that Oakville green herbaceous scent but, mild building into a sweet tobacco and king ranch leather. Perfectly balanced acidity and tannins in such a great spot right now. Soft supple mouthfeel showing blackberry jam, tar, leather and cassis. I love a aged wine that still has fruit. Finishes with loamy earth and a dash of black licorice. Has another 5 years easy. Cheers !

2001 vintage. It has aged well. Took about 15 minutes to start to open. Cherry notes along with coca notes along with coffee. Wonderful with salted caramel and chocolate cake.
