Uncharacteristically funky upon opening (leesy aromas). Shaped up nicely over two + days. Solid typicity with nicely balanced profile, just a bit muted as you might expect from the 2014 vintage.

Very enjoyable. Robert bought at CM. Told to open the morning we want to drink, take a sip, swirl, then drink that night.

The color is more brownish than reddish. Cherry, plum and leather on the nose. On the pallet there is red fruit, tobacco, oak and deep cutting acidity with a medium but vibrant finish. Rustic yet exotic, paired with Neapolitan white truffle pizza (a delight).
