Hate to score this below 9.0, I know this is just a youngster, but #frommagnum and for a smaller producer and several hour decant, this failed to deliver on the complexity I had hoped for. Acidity and dark red fruit are there but falls off a cliff 🧗♀️

Tasted blind - Tobacco, tomato leaf, leather, tart and cherry preserves. Clean on the palate, bursting with cherry and red apple. Moderate tannin with acid holding this in check. Medium weight and beginning to show rim variation.
