May 23rd, 2014Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2008, 14,5%. Bottle tasted in February 2014. Great color and excellent nose, in fact the nose evolved beautifully after about 2 hours. Red fruits, wood and vanilla all very well balanced. Smooth and rich in the mouth, very well rounded tannins. A truly enjoyable bottle: 90/100
