Top Notes For
Sipping Fine Wine

Jean-Pierre, François and Pierre Perrin craft wines, inspired by the memory of their grandfather, Pierre Perrin. Mostly Grenache, this is a classic Châteauneuf du Pape. Vivid Ruby with dark fruit and spice aromas. On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry with notes of herb pepper and leathery character. Soft tannins, good balance, long finish ending with fruit and spice, very nice!

A bit shy, opening up nicely after an hour.

Very young but already very approachable. Nevetheless it will approve in complexity with further cellaring. Very fruitdriven for the moment

Luscious sweet spices, pink peppercorn, plump baked summer berries and red plum. Motivating acid, and the tannins come on strong but plush, and fade at a nice pace. Drinking full and fresh right now. I want to say I can taste what, according to text, was partial whole bunch vinification as the backbone of the structure.

Strong perfume, minerality, metallic, granite. On the palate, powerful, gamey, barnyard, heavy and full bodied, medium finish.

Enjoyable, dry, opened up better after vacuvin on 2nd day. More rounded fruit then w nice acidity. Next time I'll have it decanted.
